Games
Regular Games
HHA will play against preparatory, private and homeschool teams. The game schedule will be posted in October. Games are scheduled according to our opponents' availability, but are typically afternoons/evenings on weekdays. To build in more games, we will also play in local tournaments. Tournaments are typically Thursday-Saturday or Friday-Saturday, and game times will vary. Wednesday games are extremely rare. We will not play on Sunday.
Travel Tournaments
Travel Tournaments: Each HHA team (12U and up) will attend at least one out of town homeschool tournament during the season. Older teams will attend at least 1, possibly 2 out of town tourneys, any more will be decided up on as a team. All travel tournament options are within Texas. Teams will conclude the season in February with the Texas Homeschool State Basketball Tournament OR the Homeschool Basketball Championship Regional Tournament.

MORE SEASON INFO
Parent Volunteer Expectations: We are a parent run organization. All of what happens at HHA is possible because of volunteers. We ask that each parent (1) work shifts during our Space City Jam Tournament in January and (2) keep the game book or clock for at least 2 games during the season (training will be provided).
Fees & Fundraising: Current fee information can be found above. We DO NOT REQUIRE fundraising, however we do have fundraising opportunities available and encourage participation as we operate on a very tight budget.
Space City Jam: Space City Jam is the longest running Homeschool Basketball tournament in Houston, and HHA Basketball is the proud host. It is also our organization's largest fundraiser, and helps keep our fees low. In order for the tournament to run smoothly, we need our parents to volunteer. When you commit to play for HHA, you agree to participate in making SPACE CITY JAM a success. We will ask you to help in the following ways:
- Donate food/water items for hospitality room, AND
- Volunteer 4 hours per player at the tournament with an 10 hour family maximum.
**If you do not wish to work the buy-out for Space City Jam is $75 due by 12/1.
